Another Mould Breaker Gone

This week we have had to say goodbye to one of the most legendary and influential people I’ve ever known, my Grandma. One of a kind doesn’t come to close to describing her, to coin a phrase she often used, she would “call a spade a spade and if they don’t like it they can piss off”. Some people would deem this flat out racism of course but anyone who met her would know better than this. She was the most kind hearted and welcoming person I have ever had the privilege to be related to, the shirt off her back or her last pound were never too much for a person in need no matter who they were.

The hat

So Jen gets me a top hat for my birthday, I can’t stop wearing it. So far I’ve worn it in the pub, at the work’s do, in the van, in the sea at midnight. I think I’m going to have some serious fun with this hat. I already have the rabbit :)>

XBMC and why I love it so (Part 1?)

Many moons ago I found myself wanting to build a pc that I could hook up to my TV and watch all of my digital media through, I figured that I didn’t need anything powerful and that it would be nice if I could incorporate a remote control.

I asked my friend who at he time was working for IBM if he had any suggestions and he informed me that I should buy an xbox. I pointed out that I wasn’t looking for a games console and suddenly a whole new world was opened up to me, the world of console hacking.

Vegetable Oil

What vegetable exactly? I’ve never heard of anybody getting fat from eating too many vegetables, how the hell do they extract so much oil from them?

Just a thought.

Big changes to the site

Having been snaffled up by a local ISP I have found myself in a rather odd and maybe not so unique position. I no longer find myself constantly searching for new and interesting projects in my self-employment for any reason than the joy of doing so.

This being the case I decided that most of the stuff on this website is now fairly irrelevant.  Based upon these factors I have decided to make it into a sort of computer help site/showcase of my previous work/general blog of things that both amuse and excite me.
